With Grid charging, plug AC power into unit. Plug your appliance into the Offgrid power system. If the grid fails, power automatically switches to the backup power. When grid returns, power switches back to grid. Two modes user selectable:

1) Battery priority - runs off battery+solar until battery gets too low, then switches back to charging and operation from grid. Want to save $ with your system? Operate in this mode and run your appliances 24/7 off solar+battery

2) Backup - runs off grid until grid fails, then switches to battery+solar

2kw true sine wave inverter provides up to 2.5hp of 120V AC power, with up to 3kw surge capacity. Unlike ICE generators electronic system is silent. Configurable system comes with one to four 300W solar modules, 2kw inverter, battery charge controller, and configurable LFP battery from 250Ah on up. Each 250Ah 12V Lithium Iron Phosphate battery provides 3kwh of battery capacity. Up to 3 250ah batteries fit inside case. Inverter and charge controller come in a Stanley ProMobile ToolChest waterproof portable case with solar power & battery breakers/switches. Case has convenient slide out handle and wheels for transportation. Cables pack into case and plug into solar module and battery. During full sun, solar power wattage adds to battery power, so continuous power use is extended. Great for studios, cottages, cabins, boats and RVs - off grid or even urban settings to avoid utility interconnect costs. Powerful inverter runs most power tools including electric chain saws and water pumps. Batteries are recyclable. Battery lifetime can be 10+ years with intermittent use.

Inverter includes 120VAC output with power strip and breaker, display with battery voltage and power output, power switch, and optional remote control panel. Additional safety features include under and over voltage, overload, over temperature, and over current shutdown. For a typical refrigerator at 125w one fully charged 250Ah battery will provide power for 24 hours, enough to operate overnight and to the next day when the sun comes out again. When in the sun, the battery will continue to charge while running the refrigerator, extending operating time. Summer months California typically 8 hours average peak power. Winter average 4 hours.
